Well, it's been almost a year since I last made a news post, I can assure anyone who's reading that I'm still alive, I've just been busy. Recently I successfully convinced the majority of my friends to join EVE (FINALLY!), and we've been having a blast, we restructured the corp to accommodate the new members, and we're all working hard and biding our time until Ambulation's introduced. That's when we all believe the game will truly open up and become the deep, dark sci-fi world that we imagine it to be.
I wanted to point out that there's been no specific mention yet of Ambulation being included in the recently announced "Midas" winter expansion, and that has some people speculating that it won't be released until the next bi-annual expansion next summer. This stands to reason, however, I've uncovered evidence that Ambulation may not be planned as part of the regular expansion cycle.

Get up, get out of your pod and take a walk on the wild side, strolling around through stations, dropping by the bar for a few drinks with your wingmen and then heading over to your corporation’s office for a board meeting. Of course, you’ll never have to leave the safety of your capsule if you don’t want to, but if you crave a little more social interaction, this feature is for you."
This tells me that if Ambulation doesn't make it into Midas, it will likely be produced as it's own "upgrade" to the EVE client. This is good news for those of us who are highly anticipating this addition.
On a last note, you'll probably notice the site design changing around frequently, I'm using evesmugglers as a testbed for a new site that we'll probably be opening soon. evesmugglers will also become the new home of Chasm City Syndicate, that will mostly mean that there will be some corp only stuff that normal users won't see, it'll also mean a re-design. So that's the skinny.
